3/6/2023 0 Comments Reddit tides of numenera![]() ![]() They really need to take a look at Divinity OS 1 and 2 or Pillars of Eternity to learn a thing or two about quantity does not equal quality and Divinity OS1 didnt have the best writing either but it sure as hell was interesting and fun not to mention my goty this year DOS2 that just upped their game by 100 times. ![]() Sadly Wasteland 3 will suffer the same fate. Wasteland 2 suffered the same fate and it was incredibly boring that I started the game twice and I always quit half way through. As the newest cast-off body of an immortal god, the player finds him/herself being chased by a force. Controller support on PC: Keyboard/mouse, console controllers as well as the steam controller. Games can be books if they want, but sadly inxile does not have good/interesting writers. The world of Numenera is filled to the brim with eccentric characters. I dont need the game to translate to text what I was seeing with my eyes every second and I didnt need the game to give me a full blown out wall of text about a character that was not interesting or relevant to anything or anyone. It is a spiritual successor to 1999's Planescape: Torment. It's got the best story in gaming ever and some of the best characters, writing, dialogue, world building and setting. But it was nowhere near what was expected or promised, you might say. The game is good and I enjoyed it for what it was. It was hugely delayed losing any momentum it had and what was released was clearly a rushed out heavily cut version. Asking if they needed to play the first game to understand this one. If some of the comments in this thread are anything to go by people were confused how this game relates to Planescape. The reality must be that not as many people give a shit about Planescape Torment than expected. Its the same reason that Bladerunner 2049 is commercially failing despite critical and niche appeal. I think its because they were making a sequel to a critically loved cult classic that in reality was a niche title. ![]()
